What is Alzheimer's?

They say that someone is diagnosed with Alzheimer's every 69 second and that 1 out of 8 people over 65 are affected.

Soon there will be two kind of people in the world.

Persons that have Alzheimer's
And, Persons that know someone that has Alzheimer's

These are staggering figures!  And though the numbers are growing - it seems that we as caregiver's, friends, and family still know so little about the disease.  I've found this video that I think does a great job explaining what is happening in the brain insuch a way that we as laymen can understand.  Please take a minute to watch it and forward to anyone who wants to learn more about this disease.
